Founded in 2006 by Marcelo J.L. Lima, the Tonks Group originated as a technology and digital solutions consultancy serving the nation’s leading cinema chains. Seizing strategic opportunities to diversify its portfolio and strengthen its market presence, the company expanded its initiatives with the launch of Revista Exibidor, a publication offering industry insights and innovations; Expocine, an annual in-person event connecting cinema professionals; and most recently, Cine Marquise, a cultural venue offering a dynamic film program for cinema enthusiasts in both São Paulo and Poços de Caldas.
