The First Southwest Community Fund (FSWCF) was started in 2015 by First Southwest Bank to help fill funding gaps and support businesses that need a boost. Based in Alamosa, Colorado, we proudly serve all of rural Colorado—areas that often haven’t seen the same economic growth as the rest of the state. In fact, three of Colorado’s persistent poverty counties are in the rural south.
At FSWCF, we focus on creating real opportunities by offering flexible, non-traditional loans to both new and growing businesses. These loans often help make it possible for banks to say “yes” while still following their lending guidelines.
Our goal is to strengthen rural communities by supporting local businesses, helping create and keep jobs, and encouraging the growth of important community resources and infrastructure.
