Coastal Jazz Association, Inc., doing business as SavannahJazz, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting jazz in Savannah, Georgia. Founded in 1981, SavannahJazz has a long-standing tradition of supporting live performances, fostering jazz education, and building a vibrant community of jazz enthusiasts. The organization produces the annual Savannah Jazz Festival, maintains the Savannah Jazz Hall of Fame, and presents the Savannah Jazz Orchestra, while offering members exclusive access to five world-class concerts each year.

Savannah has been home to legendary jazz artists such as Johnny Mercer, James Moody, Irene Reid, and Joe “King” Oliver, among many others, including contemporary master Teddy Adams. Through initiatives like the Savannah Jazz Hall of Fame and the upcoming Savannah Jazz History & Hall of Fame Exhibit at the Savannah History Museum, SavannahJazz celebrates the city’s enduring contributions to America’s jazz heritage, highlighting a musical legacy as rich and influential as New Orleans’.
