Designer League didn’t just show up—we’ve been at this since 1993.
It all started when Lori Jackson offered to sew her son’s costume for a performance instead of paying $15. One costume turned into a whole group. That project turned into other projects that eventually turned into Stadium of Fire. And when producers needed a massive American flag, Lori and her family made it happen—by hand.
In 2023, Lori’s husband, Scott Jackson, underwent high-risk open-heart surgery and experienced a rare complication called Man-in-a-Barrel Syndrome, which took away the use of his arms. The family made a choice: go big or go home.
So we opened our storefront in Nephi, added a 6-head embroidery machine, and the whole family rolled up their sleeves. Scott has since regained some arm movement, and we’re hopeful he’ll continue to improve.
Today, Lori runs daily operations. Her sons do the embroidery and heat-sealing. And Scott? He’s still the heart of the shop—cheering us on and pushing through.
We’re not new—we’re just finally visible.
