The South City Foundation, Inc., located at 1126 A Lee Avenue, Tallahassee, FL 32303, is dedicated to empowering the South City community by fostering active engagement and collaboration with local residents. Our mission is to honor the rich history of South City while securing a sustainable and thriving future. We believe that meaningful progress is only possible through the leadership, involvement, and support of those who call South City home.

As the community’s lead organization in neighborhood revitalization, the South City Foundation serves as a strategic coordinator working closely with residents and local leaders. As a proud member of the Purpose Built Network, our initiatives focus on creating mixed-income housing opportunities, developing a comprehensive cradle-to-career education pipeline, and implementing strong health and wellness programs throughout the neighborhood. We collaborate with key partners, including the Tallahassee Housing Authority, Leon County Schools, Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare, Florida Blue, Community Foundation of North Florida, Envision Credit Union, and Whole Child Leon, to drive this work forward. Additionally, we are establishing a Neighborhood Leadership Council to ensure that all progress is community-driven and resident-owned.
