Founded by brothers Jared, Jay, and Darian DeVries in 2009, Brothers Market began as a response to the loss of the only grocery store in Parkersburg, Iowa, following a devastating EF5 tornado. Since our first store opened, our commitment to community, excellent service, and family values has allowed us to grow into a trusted 16-store operation. Beyond our stores, we actively participate in local Chambers of Commerce and community projects, fostering strong relationships and making a positive impact wherever we serve.
