At Four Rivers Family Early Learning & Parenting Hub, we are dedicated to ensuring equitable beginnings for every child in our community. As a valued program of the Columbia Gorge Education Service District, we serve families across Gilliam, Hood River, Sherman, Wasco, and Wheeler Counties. In close collaboration with local partners, we connect parents and caregivers of young children (ages 0–5) with essential early learning opportunities and parenting supports such as the Preschool Promise, Head Start, home visiting services, activity boxes, early learning playgroups, parenting workshops, and more that equip families for success in preparing children for kindergarten and beyond.

Headquartered in The Dalles, Oregon, our hub serves as the central access point for a wide array of no-cost, inclusive services tailored to diverse family needs and backgrounds. Whether helping enroll a child in preschool, delivering free books through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, facilitating Parent Cafés to foster community and resilience, or providing home visiting and family coaching programs, our team meets families where they are and supports them on their journey. Every initiative is guided by our mission: working together to give all children an equitable start in life.
