Founded in February 2012 by a group of five dedicated parents striving to transform educational experiences in Nevada, Leadership Academy of Nevada emerged from a vision to nurture critical thinkers, principled leaders, and technologically adept learners. These founding parents aspired to establish a public charter school distinguished by a classical liberal arts curriculum that teaches students how to think, not what to think, bolstered by strong values of integrity and honor. With collaborative support from their community, this shared educational philosophy took root, and the Leadership Academy of Nevada officially opened its doors in August 2014.

Since its inception, Leadership Academy of Nevada has experienced thoughtful growth and continual refinement, guided by insights from both leaders in online classical education and the supportive families it serves. The school remains committed to its founding mission by offering a leadership-centric, classics-based curriculum, delivered by exceptional mentors and staff who strive for continuous improvement.
