COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The City of Colorado Springs and the City of Fountain invite the
public to attend a small business panel discussion on May 13 at 4 p.m. to learn how to navigate
the construction of a commercial property and working with local utility providers.
Hosted at the Pikes Peak Building Department (2990 International Circle, Colorado Springs),
business owners will learn more about the reviewing and permitting process in the Pikes Peak
Region, along with code and policies updates, incentives and available programs, and best
practices and tools. The panel will feature representatives from the Pikes Peak Building
Department, Colorado Springs Utilities, and the Commercial Property Assessed Clean
Energy (C-PACE).
C-PACE is a financing tool for commercial property owners to finance the cost of clean energy
or other eligible energy efficiency improvements, paying the costs back over time with annual
energy savings that exceed the annual assessment payment.
