COMMUNITY DRUM CIRCLE!
Hands-on West African Drum Workshop with Master Drummer Issa Coulibaly at North Madison Congregational Church. This is an all-ages community event with the Co-Founder & Artistic Director of Crocodile River Music. Issa is a respected Malian percussionist, vocalist, and cultural ambassador, with over two decades of experience sharing rhythms and stories of West Africa with global audiences. People of all levels of expertise are encouraged to participate. Some drums will be available for use and/or purchase. Please bring one if you have one.

NMCC is located by the traffic circle at 1271 Durham Road, Madison, CT. 203-421-3241.

NMCC's usual monthly drum circle is an informal event led by Eric Williams. A beginner-friendly group, we welcome players of all levels interested in getting the hang of the instrument - which includes Eric himself! We hope this new circle will grow into a regular community gathering, and are offering this workshop to build skills and inspire community participation.
