Tee Off for a Cause: 12th Annual Tri-Lakes Lions Club Charity Golf Tournament Returns This August

Monument, Colorado – The Tri-Lakes Lions Club is proud to host its 12th Annual Charity Golf Tournament on Friday, August 15, 2025, at the beautiful Country Club at Woodmoor. Golfers across the Front Range are invited to join for a day of fun, food, and philanthropy, and all for a good cause!

The tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 9:00 AM. Participants will enjoy breakfast, lunch, awards, and prizes, all included in the $175 per player entry fee. Registration opens June 1, 2025 at www.trilakeslionsclub.org or by calling Jim Naylor at (303) 883-8329.

Proceeds from the tournament will benefit multiple community programs supported by the Tri-Lakes Lions Club, including:

• KidSight Vision Screenings: Free vision screening for children ages six months to six years in Lewis-Palmer School District 38 and area preschools. Last year, Colorado Lions screened over 23,000 children and referred 3,000 for further care.
• Tri-Lakes Cares: A vital local nonprofit serving northern El Paso County with food pantry services, emergency assistance, and self-sufficiency programs.
• Eyecare Assistance: Financial help for local residents needing eye exams, glasses, or cataract surgery.
• Youth Activities Support: Funding registration fees and equipment costs so no child is left on the sidelines.
• First Responder Support: Purchasing safety equipment for local police and fire departments when department budgets fall short.
• Kids Fishing Derby: A free annual community event at Palmer Lake drawing over 250 kids, supported by the Department of Wildlife and community volunteers.
• Rocky Mountain Lions Eye Bank: Funding critical transplant and research efforts that restore vision for thousands across Colorado and Wyoming each year.
• Colorado Lions Camp: Supporting a year-round facility for children and adults with special needs just north of Woodland Park.

“We are proud to support so many worthy causes in the Tri-Lakes area and beyond,” said Jim Naylor, event chair. “This tournament is not only a great time on the course, but a powerful way to give back to the community we love.”

Come enjoy a day on the green, compete for great prizes, and make a meaningful impact, one swing at a time!
