Description
Leadership Jenks will welcome its 38th session, providing attendees an overview of how our city, schools, governments, and chamber all work. Attendees network, interact with civic leaders and become more knowledgeable citizens.
Meets 9 times a year, locations and dates TBD. ( August 2025 - May 2026)
ABOUT LEADERSHIP JENKS
The goal of Leadership Jenks is to identify, motivate and educate emerging leaders in our community. Leadership Jenks is a joint community leadership-building program organized by the Jenks Chamber of Commerce.
MISSION
Leadership Jenks aims to promote and enhance community leadership through an in-depth introduction to social, economic, business and policy issues in Jenks. Leadership Jenks provides a rich networking environment and access to community, county and state leaders.
PROGRAM COST
Cost includes all sessions and meals. Day at the Capitol is not included.
- Member Price – $350
- Non-member Price – $450
- Option Day at the Capitol - $100
SCHOLARSHIPS
A limited number of partial scholarships are available for the program. Eligible applicants include small businesses (under five employees).
PARTICIPANT REQUIREMENTS
In order to participate, interested persons must fill out an application form.
CLASS EXPECTATIONS:
- The second Tuesday of the Month we will meet at different locations throughout Jenks from 6pm - 7:30pm.
- There will be a meet and greet happy hour for the first meeting.
- Optional happy hours just for our Leadership Jenks Class throughout the year.
- Community project we will vote on as a group and you as the Leadership class will run and complete.
- Attendance is required, If a class is missed there will be a make up project requirement and a due date.
PARTICIPANT SELECTION
The application is open on a first come, first served basis. After acceptance, all correspondence and reminders will be sent via email from the Jenks Chamber of Commerce.
