Pueblo Pottery Artist Demonstrations Day
Description
Join us for the Pueblo Pottery Artist Demonstrations Day in honor of the IPCC’s Pueblo Pottery Community Project that brings the IPCC Collections and Pueblo Communities together! Taking place in Chaco Rooms 1 and 2, Pueblo artists will discuss the ways that their work in clay is grounded in community, places of home, storytelling, and local-to-global influences. The artists will show some of the steps of their creative process with audience participation. Tickets are available as a Sunday Day Pass that includes attendance to Pueblo Pottery Artist Demonstrations (11:00am-1:00pm) and the museum (9:00am-5:00pm). This program is supported by the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians, the Terra Foundation for American Art, and the First Nations Development Institute. Light refreshments will be served.
