For over two decades, Plaza Fiesta has proudly hosted the Mexican Consulate’s official “El Grito – Mexican Independence Celebration.” Today, this legacy continues with the Fiestas Patrias Festival—an expanded celebration that honors not only Mexico’s independence, but also the independence of other Latin American countries and the richness of the Hispanic Heritage Month.
With past attendance exceeding 60,000 people, this festival has become one of the largest and most cherished cultural gatherings for Latino families in the southeast. The famous Mexican music band "Voz de Mando" will be the main performer this year.
