Event Name:
Wildlife Viewing Hike
Description
Spend the first day of Autumn on a hike through the forest and meadows in search of wildlife who call the park home like mule deer, black bear, foxes, elk, great horned owls and more. You will also see the beautiful view from the highest point in the park. Bring a headlamp or flashlight, binoculars and water. This is a 3 mile, moderate hike. There are only so many spots to increase the likelihood of seeing animals so you must register online or by calling the Visitor Center at 719-687-2366. Seeing wildlife is not guaranteed.
