Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration at the Las Vegas Natural History Museum!
Description
Join us Sunday, September 14, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for a festive kickoff packed with music, art, and culture. Enjoy musical storytime, hands-on crafts inspired by Frida Kahlo with local artist Mariely Febles, and colorful alebrijes with guest artist Vanessa Maciel. Don’t miss two showings of Disney’s Coco at 12:00 p.m. and 2:20 p.m. in the Biomes Beyond Borders Gallery (with free popcorn and juice while supplies last—bring your comfy chairs!).
The festivities continue every weekend through November 2 with bilingual workshops, art activities, and storytelling for all ages—featuring additional partners like Aleida Castro, Grupo Literario Comala, and Sara Ives.
All activities are included with museum admission ($14/adults, $7/kids 3–11, discounts for Nevada residents).
Find us at 900 Las Vegas Blvd N., open daily 9 a.m.–4 p.m.
