Taste of Hope: A Chef’s Competition is the Mat-Su’s hottest culinary event, supporting the American Cancer Society’s efforts to eliminate cancer. The American Cancer Society’s signature culinary and beverages event, featuring some of the Mat-Su’s most popular restaurants and food providers, will allow guests to enjoy a walk-around tasting where they can sample and vote on their favorite signature dish, while enjoying an amazing silent auction, games of skill, giving activities, and other captivating entertainment.

The 3rd Annual Mat-Su Taste of Hope: A Chef's Competition, co-presented by Aurora Integrated Oncology Foundation and Mat-Su Valley Cancer Center, will be hosted by Everett's of the Mat-Su Resort on Saturday, September 20, 2025. VIP entrance will begin at 4:30pm, with General Admission entrance beginning at 5:30pm. General admission tickets are $60/person and can be purchased at acstasteofhopematsu.org. (VIP tickets are sold-out.) Ticket cost includes tastings from six (6) Mat-Su eateries with the opportunity to vote on the Mat-Su's "BEST", 2 complimentary drink tickets, live entertainment, fun photobooth experience, and most notably - the chance to help improve the lives Alaskans who have been touched by cancer. Dress code is "Black Tie Optional" with comfy shoes suggested as there is very limited seating available. Links:
