First Mid to Host Free Webinar on the Economic Impact of Tariffs

First Mid has announced an upcoming free webinar titled Tariffs & Their Impact on the Economy, designed to help individuals and businesses better understand how trade policy shapes financial markets, supply chains, and overall economic growth. Presenter Iris Wang, vice president of portfolio management for asset management services (AMS) at Raymond James Financial, will explore the current state of global trade, recent developments in tariff policy, and what they mean for businesses, investors, and consumers alike.

With a background in fixed income securities, Wang is currently responsible for setting asset allocation policy and making investment decisions for AMS discretionary portfolios and the Raymond James strategic recommended models. She joined the industry in 2008 and Raymond James in 2022. Holding a bachelor's degree in economics and international business from China University of Political Science & Law and a master's degree in finance from Case Western Reserve University, Wang earned her Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2014 and has extensive experience in investment research and portfolio management for institutional assets.
